You'll find no shortage of things to do at and around Pine Bay, here's a few of our suggestions:
Fishing - All of the game fish that the St. Lawrence is famous for are here for you. Black bass, northern pike, yellow perch, pan fish, and even walleyes and muskie are right here. Boating - One of the most beautiful cruising areas in the country begins at our boat launch. Unlike some little lake that can be circled in a few minutes, here your boating possibilities are almost unlimited. Day trips of 50 or more miles are possible, or just go to town for pizza or ice cream. You can visit both Boldt and Singer Castles in your own boat, either of them only about 5 miles away by water. Kayak, canoe, or sail, it's all right here. Sport diving - The St. Laurence's crystal clear waters make this area one of the best fresh water dive destinations in the country. As we are located only 2 miles from the popular sunken freighter "Keystorm" dive site, PBF is an ideal base camp for underwater explorations. Take a boat tour, it's a great way to see around the islands if you don't have your own boat. Relaxing - Maybe best of all is just sitting back and watching the river flow -- |

Antique Boat Museum - One of the best collections in the country, maybe the world, don't miss it! Alexandria Chamber of Commerce - Check this site for info on entertainment, attractions, etc. Clayton Chamber of Commerce - a little farther away, but nice! Here's a real nice site about Thousand Islands Life, one of my favorites! Here's another T.I. web cam with with a big, high res image - v. cool! History page: under construction, check again |
